I...did not know that was a word. PFFT I'm not that great with titles, so YEAH. XD
Anyway, this was my first time using photoshop for something like this, and although the outcome looks pretty awesome, it took a while for me to envision it! XD Water isn't easy to recreate in a shot that is in your face since it really is a clear substance, but I feel like I did a pretty good job! I played around with distorting the image behind the water itself, but it looked sort of...odd. XD So instead, I brightened up areas to match the coldness of both the water and the overall feel of the photo, since I feel that's how the skin is affected when you water-bend. That's just my own imagination coming into play, though. C:
I even tried my hand at shooping the same picture, but with firebending instead and MAN did it change the overall feel to the image! I think everyone needs to try that - play around with different "look & feels" when it comes to their pictures - you never know which one will look better to you until you try! ^^
In the future, I plan on taking more pictures where I'm playing around with ACTUAL water (fire will hurt me FFF, and air will just...yeah 8B) in the future for a shoot or two, so stay tuned! C:
I don't know if I properly established this on Facebook, but I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. Still hope to get some pics with you at Otakon--making a racer Asami for some of Saturday!
